JOIN CARAVANS OF MOURNING TO DEMAND COVID ACTION AND A MORAL AGENDA

The Poor People’s Campaign is organizing Moral Monday caravans in 24 states and DC and online on Nov. 23 to mourn the nearly quarter-million Americans who have died from COVID-19, demand a smooth and open transition of power, and lift up the moral policies we need immediately and in the first 100 days of the new administration.

THE PROPHETIC PLEDGE

We know that the power of the poor and low-income vote has never been more critical and potent than it is now. That's why we asked faith and community organizations to come together and take a Prophetic Pledge to turnout voters this 2020 election. People all over America pledged to call and text poor and low-income voters in their communities, helping to create a massive wave of political participation.

Faith and community organizations that signed onto the Prophetic Pledge committed to building a movement that votes, and to build the power we need to hold our elected officials accountable to the policies that the people are demanding.

Those who signed up for the Prophetic Pledge agreed to:

  • Be non-partisan; the Poor People’s Campaign is non-partisan but deeply political
  • Reach out to ten people to encourage them to vote
  • Fully read the principles and demands of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival
